I Want These Scrubs. This design is a nostalgic nod to the 1999 hit "No Scrubs" with a birding twist that celebrates one of Florida's most charismatic endemic species. Back in '99, we were all about avoiding scrubs, but now that we've rediscovered birds (or never stopped loving them), we've realized that some scrubs are absolutely worth pursuing. Specifically, the Florida Scrub-Jay, a bird so charming and cooperative that it'll make you rethink your entire stance on scrubs. Turns out we're not 100% "No Scrubs" after all.

About the Florida Scrub-Jay

The Florida Scrub-Jay is the only bird species found exclusively in Florida, making it a must-see for birders chasing state endemics and life list additions. These intelligent, social birds are known for their bold, curious nature and striking blue plumage, often approaching humans with surprising confidence in their scrub oak habitat. Unlike their western cousins, Florida Scrub-Jays live in cooperative family groups where young birds help raise their siblings, and they're highly dependent on Florida's threatened scrub oak ecosystem, making conservation efforts critical to their survival.
